Phonics Workshop for Teacher Training Courses
This is for teachers on training courses such as B.Ed, PGCE, SCITT, TEFL
It can be a half day or full day workshop explaining synthetic phonics and its role in the teaching of reading and spelling.

Phonics Workshop for Teacher Training Days in schools
This can be a half day or full day workshop explaining the importance of synthetic phonics in the teaching of reading and spelling. It can be general or focused on the use of Letters and Sounds or Sounds-Write.

Phonics for Staff Development Days in FE colleges
This is for literacy or EFL tutors in FE colleges, prisons or Job Centres.
It can be a half day or full day workshop explaining the importance of synthetic phonics in the teaching of reading and spelling.

‘Introduction to Phonics’ for Playgroup Leaders and Nursery Nursing Courses
This is for people training to work in Foundation such as playgroups and nurseries. It would explain how pre-school provision can prepare children for the phonic approach that they will be using in school.

Sounds-Write Courses for teachers
This is a 5-day certificated course for teachers and teaching assistants.

Sounds-Write Courses for Further Education tutors/ESOL tutors
This is a 4-day course demonstrating how the Sounds-Write programme can easily be adapted for use with adults or ESOL/EFL learners.

Support for Sounds-Write trained teachers
This could be observing teachers and making suggestions on good practice or discussing with Literacy Co-ordinators how best to incorporate Sounds-Write into the literacy curriculum.
 
Refresher courses for Sounds-Write trained teachers
This could be an in-set day or twilight session. It can be tailored to the needs of the school. It could take the form of a question and answer session or demonstration of particular lessons from the programme.

Phonics Workshops for parents
This could be a Saturday or evening session to explain the phonics approach and the
importance of supporting their children at home. 

An overview of the Sounds-Write programme – a one-day course for Headteachers
This is for Headteachers who have made the decision to use Sounds-Write in their school. It will give them an overview of the programme and help them to understand the terms and approach that their teachers are using.

Private Tuition
This is a course for learners of any age who would like to learn to read or improve their reading. After an Initial Assessment, there will be approximately 12-15 hours tuition, organised to suit the learner. It could range from a one hour lesson once a week to a more intense course of 2-3 hours a day, each day for a week.
